Allan Poe: Gothic Literature

Edgar Allan Poe was an American writer, best known for his poems and short stories. He is regarded as the creator of the modern detective story who transformed a Gothic mystery tales into a horror and murder psychological thriller and, overall, made a short story into a work of art.

The Raven is an American classic, and Poe uses a lot of symbolism in this poem.
